    Our canine companions are capable of being such a big part of our daily lives. Unlike our feline friends, dogs DO have owners and they like it like that. It is certainly no secret that dogs are one of our most loyal companions.

Our canine companions are capable of being such a big part of our daily lives. Unlike our feline friends, dogs DO have owners and they like it like that. It is certainly no secret that dogs are one of our most loyal companions. In the domesticated environment, it is what they live for, to please the leader of their pack (that’s you!). They also like the security of knowing exactly where they fit into that pack.

No dog is too big or too small for our CosyCats staff. CosyCats staff who are dedicated to our dog walking service have had many years’ experience with their own canine counterparts and are fully trained, completely confident and knowledgeable when it comes to handling your hound.

While we are walking, we can reinforce your commands or help establish some new commands if you feel this is needed.

CosyCats Canine Feeding and Walking Services:

If you are going away for any length of time, we recommend 2 visits per day for your dog. The reason for this is that dogs are pack animals and do not naturally do well on their own for extended periods of time, so 2 visits per day, with one of those visits including a walk will help eliminate loneliness and boredom. During these visits, CosyCats can provide you peace of mind knowing that your precious pooch is being well cared for while you are away by also:
  • Cleaning feed, water bowls and eating areas each time we visit.
  • Being on ‘pooper scooper’ duties to keep your section clean.
  • Administering any medications that your pet may need.
  • Entertaining your hounds in any way they might enjoy, from a walk, throwing a tennis ball or frisbee for our more energetic and playful canines, to a quiet brush or scratch for the more laid back pooches.
Little things like turning lights on and off, radio and TV on and off, opening and closing curtains and moving things around give the impression of someone home, so as to deter any unwanted visitors. All this is free to you when CosyCats comes to feed and care for your pets.

Dog Walking – Regular or One Offs:

Entertaining your hounds in any way they might enjoy, from a walk, throwing a tennis ball or frisbee for our more energetic and playful canines, to a quiet brush or scratch for the more laid back pooches.

Are you:

  • Too bogged down by work and don’t have time to pound the pavements with your pooch as often as they need?
  • Laid up by illness or injury?
  • The owner of an exuberant adolescent (of the canine kind!) who has energy to burn?
  • Or has your beloved offspring suddenly left you with their precious pooch while they have gone off to explore the world?
We will visit and walk your dog from your own home or if your canine companion would like a change of scenery and a swim; we can take a trip to the river. If there is anywhere else you regularly visit with your dog then just let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Puppy Nanny:

We’ll provide you with your own personal puppy nanny should you have a little one who needs some care and attention while you are at work. Or an older pet who needs some fresh air and a toilet stop in the middle of the day.
